They may be edited, condensed and published in any medium. All submissions become the property of the Republican Company and will not be returned or acknowledged. Obituary Policy: The Republican offers two types of obituaries. One is a brief death notice, up to eight lines which is published without charge. The other is a paid death notice which allows families to publish extended death notice information of their choice. Families may publish a photograph. Paid death notices should be submitted through a funeral home. Exceptions will be made only when the family provides a certificate of death or a clipping from an out-of-town newspaper.
